Hello! I am from a Russian wikia. Have you heard our developers are going to change a modern forum (maybe comments, chats and message walls as well) with discussions (http://community.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog:Cristina7/Introducing_Discussions,_a_New_Platform_For_Engaging_Your_Community)? If you have, then you must see the new tool has a lot of problems. For example, it is separated from a site, there are no threads, no any wikitext, no notifications, no opportunity to highlight a message. A design is also quite bad. The Russian (http://ru.community.wikia.com/wiki/Тема:86705 / http://ru.community.wikia.com/wiki/Тема:87368), English (http://community.wikia.com/wiki/Thread:1106806) and French (http://communaute.wikia.com/wiki/Fil:50384) users have made petitions versus the discussions tool (or at least versus a deletion of the forum). There are more than 400 users to sign now. Will the developers hear us? We do not know, but we just want to try. We have no another way to change the situation. If you also dislike the discussions, it would be good if you made own petition or supported the English one. Of course, I do not insist, you may ignore the message.
